The Kazan State Medical University, also popularly known as KSMU, is a 200-year-old public university founded in 1814 in Kazan, Russia. It is the third-oldest medical university in Russia, after St. Petersburg and Moscow. As a public university, the management is funded by the Ministry of Healthcare and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
