About the University
Perm State Medical University (PSMU), named after Academician E.A. Wagner, was founded in 1916 and is one of the oldest medical institutions in the Ural region of Russia. The university is state-funded and operates under the Russian Ministry of Health. PSMU has trained thousands of physicians over its century-long history and the English-medium MBBS-equivalent General Medicine program is fully listed in WDOMS, making its degree valid for NMC/NExT examination in India.
